Nishi no Majo ga Shinda plot
Mai is a 13-year-old girl who suffers from asthma and has recently refused to go to school. Her parents decide to take her to her grandmother who lives in the countryside. There is speculation that Grandmother is a witch so Mai asks her for witch lessons. Grandmother agrees, but the lessons are ultimately about taking responsibility in life. Based on a popular 1994 Japanese children's book by Kaho Nashiki.
