Nippon no Kuroi Natsu - Enzai plot

Toshio Kanbe, a middle-aged man, lives with his family in a typical small town in the province. In the summer of 1994, he becomes the prime suspect in a murder case in which someone used deadly gas and killed seven people. The case has received national attention and although Toshio denies any involvement, the police find enough leads to believe him to be the perpetrator.
