Nicholas' Gift plot
A couple goes on holiday to Italy in 1994 with their son Nicholas. However, they are attacked and shot by highway pirates and the parents soon learn that their son is brain dead. After this, they must decide whether they want to have their son sacrificed through organ donation so that seven critically ill Italian children can be saved.
