Neue Chance zum Glück plot
To cheer her friend Bea (Sandra Borgmann) up, Merrit (Sonsee Neu) takes her on holiday with her husband Immo (Mathias Herrmann) and the children to Italy. When she receives word that her father is seriously ill, she travels back to Germany, but leaves the rest in Italy for a holiday. She finds out that there is a stench for gratitude: her husband is cheating on her with her best friend. Her mother Iris (Jutta Speidel), with whom she is always at loggerheads, is the one she can turn to right now.
