Geun-Tae Kim was the adviser for the Democratic United Party. In his younger years, he led the democratic movement during Korea's autocratic regime. In September 1985, Geun-Tae is kidnapped in front of his wife and children and transferred to an anti-communist National Police interrogation room somewhere in Namyeong-dong, Seoul. For twenty-two days he is interrogated and tortured by Geun-An Lee
