Namai Ba Rahis Gomhor plot
Soraya, a married mother of two, heads the Kabul Crime Division, a job that places high demands on her time, much to the dismay of her less gifted husband Karim and her criminal father-in-law - both of whom make her work a source of family find shame. The men's resentment grows when Soraya becomes involved in a regional investigation in which the authorities reduce the power of the male village elders, with whom her father-in-law is criminally affiliated. The already troubled relationship between Soraya and Karim completely falls apart and Soraya ends up in jail. From prison she decides by means of a letter to ask the president for help.
