"Even a small town must face the truth."

Young Abraham leaves for America where he works as a specialist in infectious diseases. When he's offered a job in eastern Tennesee, he moves with his wife Rajani, hoping it's a better place to raise their son, Steven. Abraham works there intensively with AIDS patients and at one point gets more patients than he can handle.
