Monsoon Wife plot

Thomas McIntyre is an American who has thrown himself into the seamy side of Cambodia, full of sex and drugs. He seeks an excuse from his life, but falls in love with a Cambodian. Unfortunately, he is without money and when an old acquaintance asks him to serve as a guide in Cambodia for him and his wife for a hefty fee, Thomas accepts. However, he knows nothing of the double agenda that this man has.
