Monsieur Fabre plot
Avignon, 1861. Jean-Henri Fabre, a devoted teacher of mathematics and science at the university, spends all his spare time studying insect behavior and anatomy. Despite his utmost modesty, encouraged by his friend, the English philosopher John Stuart Mill, he decides to record the results of his work in writing. A Parisian publisher, Charles Delagrave, will publish his books, with increasing success. Fabre proves that he is someone ahead of his time.
