Mon Oncle d'Amérique plot
An ambitious teacher makes a career in public life and becomes the director of a radio station. A farmer's son works his way up to technical director of a factory that is bought by an American company. A working-class girl tries a career as an actress, but becomes a designer for the clothing company of the ex-farmer and in the meantime has a difficult relationship with the married radio operator.
