Millefeuille plot

Tunisia, December 2010. Zaineb is an independent young woman, engaged to a Franco-Tunisian contractor, whose mother wants her to wear a hijab. Her friend, Aisha, works in a bakery where her boss wants her to take off her hijab because it would make her more attractive. The two young women refuse to be dictated to by the dominant men in their environment. Each in their own way, they fight for their individual freedom, while all around them the rumble and tension of the revolution is clearly palpable.
