Michi plot

As a trucker, you spend most of your life in a truck. After spending 30 years this way, trucker Seiji Tajima (Nakadai) has had it all and has been returning home for a long time. However, in his apartment in Urayasu (near Tokyo), Seiji does not rest. He feels a great distance from his wife Yoshiko, who is tired of life, and his recently graduated eldest daughter Eri, who now hopes to break through as a talent in the entertainment industry.
