Meurtre à Pacot plot

After the terrible January 2010 earthquake in Port-au-Prince, a bourgeois couple tries to resume their lives amid the ruins of their luxurious home. Out of money, they rent out the still habitable part of the former villa to Alex, a foreign rescue worker. He brings Andrémise with him, an ambitious 17-year-old Haitian girl of modest origin. Now, on top of losing their social position, their ideals, their dreams and wishes, the couple also has to endure this poisonous invasion.
