Areg is 23 and he was born in Armenia. For more than ten years he has lived with his mother/widow Maria and his little brother Garnik in the Bavarian city of Regensburg, where they have been waiting for their naturalization all this time. For Areg, Germany is his home: he speaks perfect German, identifies with Germany and has big goals, because he wants to make films. With an official, special license, he studies in Munich. But his mother sees it differently: she only speaks Armenian and she tries to match Areg with Armenian women. She wants nothing more than to return to her beloved Armenia.
