Meine Frau, Meine Freunde und Ich plot

Richard, a soap actor in everyday life, wants to brighten up his girlfriend Katja and organizes a surprise party for her 35th birthday. One of the guests, named Oskar, starts flirting with Katja. When all the guests have left, there is a disagreement between Richard and Katja about this incident. Katja claims that nothing happened, but at the same time keeps a lot of distance. When the argument degenerates and Richard accidentally hits Katja hard in the face, he is kicked out of the house. He cannot go to his friends and to top it off he is fired from the TV broadcaster.
