'Master Harold'... and the Boys plot

The story takes place in 1950 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where the black servants in a tea house have to call the son of the wealthy owners 'Master Harold'. One day Harold finds the two servants practicing for a dance competition and they play around with each other without really wanting to offend each other. But when Harold hears bad news about his father, he is so frustrated that he takes it out on the black servants. The result is a major racial conflict.
