Marie S'en Va T-en Guerre plot

Normandy coast, June 5, 1944. Little Marie (Julia Maraval) only thinks about her communion, which will be celebrated in a few days. That night the Allies land. While her father helps the soldiers and her mother tends to wounded rescuers, Marie guides the Canadian Indian paratrooper John (Patrice Bissonnette). She is introduced to the horrors of war, but at the same time falls in love for the first time as a result of the friendship between her and the lost soldier.
