Marco W. - 247 Tage im Türkischen Gefängnis plot

The first wonderfully carefree holiday on the Turkish Riviera ends dramatically for Marco and his parents Martina and Ralf. Marco is arrested on the last day, because he allegedly raped an English woman. He has to spend eight months in a Turkish prison, 247 grueling days in inhumane conditions: in a small cell crammed with 30 strangers. Some are drug addicts, but Marco is also treated like a serious criminal.
