Mar en Sien plot

Actresses Shireen Strooker and Marja Kok have known each other for nearly fifty years. They were regular cast members of the Werkteater and created the production Mar & Sien together twice, among other works. Now that Strooker is suffering from dementia, seated on a bench, they conjure up cherished memories and colleagues together one last time. In doing so, they create a final Mar & Sien. From the fragments of memories emerge loving, hesitant conversations in which the richness of their careers, but above all their affection for one another, play the leading role.
