Manuel plot

Manuel just turned 18. The time has come when he can leave the foster home where he lived for the past few years, after his mother ended up in prison. But the newfound freedom is bittersweet. Manuel strolls through the streets of his desolate neighborhood, filled only with hope and fear. He is trying to leave his teenage years behind and become a responsible adult. He must prove to the authorities that he can take care of his mother if she is placed under house arrest. Can he give her freedom without losing his?
