In 1963 Esther gave birth to Roland, the youngest child in a large family. Roland was born with a club foot which prevented him from standing upright. Against everyone's advice she promised her son that he would walk like everyone else and have a fantastic life. From that moment on Esther does everything she can to keep that promise.
