Lumières d'Été plot
Akihiro, a Japanese director, leaves Paris, where he lives, for Hiroshima to interview survivors of the atomic bomb. Deeply shocked by their stories, he stays there for a while and meets a strange young woman, Michiko, in a park. Gradually he is impressed by her cheerfulness and he decides to follow her on an impromptu journey through the city to the sea.
