Lulu und Jimi plot

It's the 1950s and the funfair is in town. At the bumper cars, Lulu meets Jimi here. The sparks fly right away. However, Lulu has her obligations. Her family wants her to start something with Ernst, because that entails financial security. When Lulu's tyrannical mother finds out that she is interested in Jimi, who is also a Negro, she decides to do everything she can to nip this love in the bud.
