Løvekvinnen plot
In 1912 a girl is born on a winter night full of northern lights. Her mother dies in childbirth and her shocked father doesn't want to hear from her; the girl is in fact completely covered with silver fur. Thus begins the life of Eva Arctander, who suffers from the rare disease hirsutism, which makes her completely hairy. Her father keeps her hidden from the outside world and Eva grows up in deep loneliness. Despite this, she develops into an independent, intelligent woman. When she finally comes into contact with the outside world, she finds herself fighting against the prejudices that rule her.
