Sasha, a prominent photographer, has built her life around helping others through her lens. She captures the quiet truths and daily resilience of her community, and through her women's empowerment center, founded by her late grandmother. Sasha's life is in crisis; a developer threatens to close the center, which shelters homeless women, unless she can raise significant funds quickly. The pressure mounts, and her estranged father returns in ill health, forcing Sasha into the role of caregiver.
