Los Últimos de Filipinas plot
During the Spanish-American War, the commander of a Spanish team based in the Philippines discovers that the residents of the district he controls are planning an uprising. He orders his troops to stay in the church of the village. They stay there for almost a year and make various things with it that show the tenacity and heroism of the Spaniards.
