Los Jornaleros plot
Los Jornaleros tells the story of three young Mexican immigrants who entered the United States illegally. Full of ideals, Tura, Pillo and Quique firmly believe in a fresh start and a new life in Los Angeles. But soon they find out that life is hard; because they have no papers, they have to find work every day as day laborers. The daily begging for work often has no result. As a result, Pilo becomes involved in the drug trade and Tura is blackmailed by his boss's wife, who is charmed by him. Quique gets a job at a gay gallery and develops a relationship with the owner. This is against the will of the others, who are used to their "macho culture".
