Los Hermanos Cartagena plot
Story about two brothers, sons of a Bolivian landowner, one white, the other mestizo because of the dad's slip with the Indian girl. Juan José despises Martin because of the color of his skin, because it tarnishes the family honour. As they get older, their paths diverge. Martin goes to town and comes into contact with the trade union movement. Juan José makes a fast career in the repression apparatus. As the union battle intensifies and the repression becomes more brutal, the final showdown between the two sons draws ever closer...
