Lord Elgin and Some Stones of No Value plot

Ever since the moment on the Acropolis in 1802 when Lord Elgin, the then British Ambassador to Constantinople, managed to separate the majority of the Parthenon temple sculptures and bring them over from Athens to England, there has been an ongoing disagreement about the rightful 'home' of the sculptures. This film shows, with a quote from their own letters, what the thoughts of Lord and Lady Elgin were. The film shows that Lord Elgin did not want to save the images from pollution or the Turks, but wanted to have them for himself.
