Limbunan plot

Entrusted to a man she barely knows, 17-year-old Ayesah will soon marry him. According to tradition, she should be secluded from the public and spend time in her private quarters. While the preparations for the wedding are made, Ayesah is reunited with Maguid, her childhood teacher, and this brings back many childhood memories. Her 8-year-old sister Saripa keeps her informed about things going on outside her room, while her mother holds back because her husband spends half the time in bed with his second wife.
