Lilly unter den Linden plot
At her sister's funeral, Lena (Von Borsody) meets her niece Lilly (Gröschel) for the first time. The girl has no further family and wants to live with her aunt. But that is not so simple: the year is 1988 and Lena lives on the other side of the wall, in the GDR. To get to her aunt, Lena makes the journey to East Germany and makes the crossing from West to East.
