Beatrice is a woman who combines her shyness and lack of self-esteem through excessive drinking. Her husband endures his wife's addiction for a long time, until one day he can't take it anymore. She must start attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to get her life back on track. Beatrice then sets up a rehabilitation home for other female alcoholics.
