Lie Exposed plot

Melanie, a woman in her fifties from Toronto, learns that she is terminally ill. This makes her think about her life and her body. She leaves her husband Frank in Toronto and goes on a slump. She ends up in Los Angeles where she meets photographer Jonathan and becomes his muse. The photographer inspires her to celebrate her body, with all the folds, wrinkles and illnesses. She will pose for a series of nudes using the tintype process.
