"The body of Venus... the smile of a temptress... and a heart dripping with fury and revenge!"
In a penitentiary, the execution of a prisoner who is the victim of a report prompts his friends to search for those who betrayed him. Rudel and Macquart soon become suspicious, because they have been waiting for an opportunity to flee for a long time. During the funeral, the two indeed run off. They kill two guards and crawl undetected into the cargo area of a van. Both escapees venture into the swamps of Camargue and finally arrive at an isolated hut, which at first glance appears to be uninhabited.
