Les Ritaliens plot

1955. Francesco Rinaldi emigrated with his wife Vittoria, their daughter Pasqualina and grandmother from the Italian Calabria to southwestern France. They find shelter in a house belonging to the wealthy Moreau family, who also help Francesco find work. Moreau can persuade Francesco to set up a plastering business and even puts money into the business. However, things go wrong when Pasqualina's boyfriend Gino falls off a scaffold...
