Les Murs Porteurs plot

Frida, a 75-year-old widow, loses her memory and confuses the past with the present. Judith, her daughter, had chosen not to work but to take care of her children. Now divorced and struggling with the departure of her last son and the aging of her mother, she questions her usefulness. Simon, on the other hand, Frida's son and a journalist by trade, observes society sharply but pays no attention to the problems of his mother and his growing daughter. Frida returns to her old apartment. She hopes to see her husband again. However, the latter died a few years ago. She meets her tenant, Manou, who is looking forward to an important promotion. Her return to her former home sees multiple characters reunite and rediscover themselves.
