Les Liens du Coeur plot

Gaëlle and Jocelyn, and their respective children Lilou and Hugo, have been a happily blended family for several years now. Gaëlle and Jocelyn still love each other and Lilou and Hugo consider each other brother and sister. Their happiness comes to an abrupt end when Jocelyn dies unexpectedly. Hugo's family wants the teenage boy taken away from Gaëlle. However, she does not intend to give up Hugo just like that.
