Suzanne unexpectedly appears at her sister Jeanne's door with her young children. Not only have the sisters not seen each other for months, Suzanne also seems to have withdrawn. The next morning, Jeanne discovers a shocking message that Suzanne has left her. She also appears to have disappeared without a trace from one day to the next.

Depressed widow Suzanne [Juliette Armanet] leaves her underage children with her sister Jeanne [Camille Cottin] and disappears without a trace. Jeanne is a career woman who has never wanted children, but if she refuses to care for Gaspard [Manoã Varvat] and Margaux [Nina Birman], there is a high chance that child protective services will separate them. Jeanne's moral and personal dilemmas are certainly not surprising, but the good acting of the children and sympathetic supporting roles by Monia Chokri (as an old friend) and Guillaume Gioux (as a benevolent police officer) give this a slight edge compared to other films on this theme.
