According to the doctor [Vincent Lecuyer], Sandra [Lucie Debay] and Rémi [Lazare Gousseau] are unable to have children because they suffer from 'Lost Love Syndrome'. To get rid of it, they must literally and figuratively work through all their previous sexual partners. Balboni and Sirot clearly could not agree on whether they should take open relationships seriously. Consequently, this falls between the cracks. The conversations about former sexual partners, exhibitionism, and group sex take on an awkward oh-la-la quality, and the sex scenes are in an identity crisis. Debay and Gousseau do what they can, but this is neither here nor there.

Meh.

A short and lighthearted film with a banal premise. Somewhere halfway through, the tone changes and the parties involved start asking themselves questions. This reveals a major problem for this film: they didn't seem to know which direction to take. As a result, it remains somewhat torn between two ideas. However, it doesn't drag on for very long and I didn't manage to get annoyed by it, so it just about works as a quick diversion.

However wacky the premise may be, there is actually a lot of relatability in it. Numerous issues surrounding emotions addressed in this film have come up all too often in my life. Like having had a few bed partners myself, being a partner with a whole army of bed partners, and yet still hearing things like "you might develop stronger feelings for someone else than for me" or "that ex possibly meant more to you than I did," while she... Oh well, let's not dwell on that. The point is that this film manages to come very close to reality in a very absurd way. And I found that quite remarkable.

And I had a good laugh a few times too. So quite an entertaining comedy.
