Le Secret de la Belle de Mai plot

November 1942. Pierre Cyprien is about to set sail for Algiers, because of the invasion of the German army. Pierre is captain of the boat 'La Belle de Mai' and is visited by a certain Mahler, a businessman who asks him to take on board an art collection to evade the Nazis. The young man accepts the assignment. However, he has only sailed a few miles when his ship is tracked down and sunk.
