Le Reste du Monde plot

Eve is a young woman living in the south of France. One evening her boyfriend commits suicide and not long after that she turns out to be pregnant. It is the beginning of a drama in which (mainly) the role of parenthood is examined. During a family dinner, Eve's father's new wife stirs up an old family secret. As a result, Judith, one of Eve's two sisters, becomes convinced that her father is not her biological father and she starts looking for him. Meanwhile, Eve wonders if she wants to keep her child.
