Eva is a once failed aspiring actress who fails to find the meaning of her existence. In the cinema, she sees a film whose star looks strikingly like her. The similarities she recognizes between the character on the silver screen and herself make her quite upset, especially the fact that the character, like herself, also considers suicide in her role.
