Le Plaisir (et Ses Petits Tracas) plot

Raphaël, a young blue helmet, is injured on an assignment and lies in a hospital bed, where he receives the gentle care of Vera, a nice nurse. He falls in love with her. Moved by the soldier's despair, she surrenders herself completely to him just on the eve of her departure for Saint-Étienne. Once she arrives there, she sees her fiancé Roland, a failed actor, who soon suspects her of infidelity. The days pass. Vera has returned to the hospital while Roland attends a dodgy cabaret. One evening, he prevents a woman from committing suicide by throwing herself under the subway.
