Le Petit Théâtre de Jean Renoir plot
A film consisting of four different segments. 'Le Dernier Reveillon' is about a clochard who stands in front of a restaurant on Christmas Eve, and sees the customers feasting. In 'La Cireuse Électrique', a manic housekeeper gets a polishing machine from her husband to polish the parquet. The man slips on the floor and dies. In 'La Chanteuse' a singer performs the song "When love dies". The last sketch 'Le Roi d'Yvetot' is the story of a citizen who becomes a man's best friend and his wife's lover at the same time.
