16-year-old Jonathan, exasperated after months of persistent bullying at school, tries to commit suicide by setting himself on fire. He survives his desperate act, but floats between life and death with particularly severe burns. Jonathan's parents are completely upset. They knew nothing of the silenced suffering of their son. Jonathan's teacher then opens another investigation into the bullying.
