Le Bonheur C'est une Chanson Triste plot
Anne-Marie has just lost her job as a publicist. She feels a bit down and to make sense of her unemployment, she plans to make a documentary about what makes a person happy. During a heat wave, armed with a digital camera, she wanders the streets of Montreal asking random people what happiness means to them. The most diverse characters give the most diverse answers. Some think it's madness to think about such a question now, others, like a friendly musician and a homeless person who came to town with big plans, take the time to answer her question.
