"Do you think plants could have souls? That we might even be able to talk to them?"
For an entire summer, 17-year-old Florencia has to take care of her brother, who is in a vegetative state after an accident. She washes him, changes his diapers and sleeps in bed with him. From time to time she reads to him from a comic called Las Plantas, which deals with plant souls taking control of the human body at full moon. At night Florencia chats with men on the internet. Images of her monotonous daily routine and a vivid sexual fantasy fuse into a story about a young woman's sexual explorations.
