Nina Just is a presenter at a teleshopping channel, but whatever she does, she can't count on recognition from her mother Rose. Rose lives with her partner Werner in an old farmhouse in Munich. When she falls ill and needs a new kidney, Nina's life turns into chaos. Between dramatic lies and skipping behavior, Nina develops a close bond with roadman Mike.
