Over the years, script author Stefan has become a bored cynic. His wife Helena feels neglected by him and to maintain her love life she starts a weekend romance with the pianist Paolo. This is done in all openness, because Alina still loves her husband and does not want to cheat on him. At first Stefan agrees, but then doubt and jealousy set in.
