La Tueuse plot

From one day to the next Mathilde loses her job as a nurse. Despite years of experience, the pregnant 30-year-old cannot find a job. Social assistance is not an option for Mathilde, so she tries her luck at the poker game. She knows some good tricks that she learned from a professional gambler she befriended at the clinic. Before long, Mathilde is completely hooked on Texas-style poker; the Texas hold'em. In the milieu she is even called "the murderess". But the game drives her deeper into debt, her addiction even threatening the health of her unborn baby as well as her relationship with her boyfriend Alexis.
